They are representing the University of Florida in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The Florida Gators are intercollegiate sports teams. Many can easily recognize them for they are said to be known as the best overall in the Southern Conference for over the past two decades. They are one of the unbeaten teams in the nation and in the duration of the 2009 to 2010 school year, the Florida Gators was able to combine to win the Southeastern Conference All-Sports Trophy. Furthermore, since 1983, every year, the Florida Gators has been recognized by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics or NACDA as one of the ten best overall Division I athletic programs in the country. On the other hand, they were also the first and only school in the history of NCAA that was able to hold the men’s basketball and the football championships in the duration of the same school year.
