They are part of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League. The Dallas Stars are professional ice hockey team that is having their base in Dallas, Texas. They were founded as the Minnesota North Stars in the 1967 NHL Expansion. They were part of the NHL’s six-team expansions. And the home games that they have were played at the Metropolitan Sports Center. They were based in Bloomington, Minnesota that time.

 

The team was then transferred to Dallas for the NHL season of 1993 to 1994. On the other hand, the first player of the Dallas Stars that was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame was Brett Hull and he was inducted in 2009.  The Gund brothers purchased the team in 1978. George II and Gordon Gund are also the owners of the Cleveland Barons on that occasion. The team’s colors were black, green, gold and white. The team is currently owned by Tom Hicks.
