They are named first as the Chicago Packers. And that was in the seasons of 1961 to 1962. A season after that, they changed their name then to Chicago Zephyrs. When the franchise moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1963, they were named as the Baltimore Bullets. In addition, the team was moved again to different location and that was in Landover. Maryland. The team then became the Capital Bullets. The team’s name was then changed again to Washington Bullets a year after that. At present, they are named as the Washington Wizards and they are professional team in basketball that is having their base in Washington. DC. They are at present playing in the National Basketball Association.

 

From the seasons of 1961 to 1962, the team played in the International Amphitheatre. From 1962 to 1963, their home arena was changed to Chicago Coliseum. It was then moved to Baltimore Civic Center and then from 1973 to 1997, it was in US Airways Arena then moved again to Verizon Center from 1997 up to present.
