They are professional team in ice hockey that is based in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, the Boston Bruins are part of the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League. It was in 1942 that the team was formed. They entered the league as the first United States- based expansion franchise. They first played their NHL game on December 1, 1924 and that was against Maroon at the Boston Arena. The team then won the game by recording a 2-1 score. That victory was followed by a good season in 1926 to 1927. In addition, they have a very good season in 1929 to 1930 wherein they were able to post for their best-ever regular season and won a winning percentage in the NHL. The most famous team president of the team was Weston Adams that has been president of the team since 1936. He then purchased the team in 1964.
