The Baltimore Orioles, based in Baltimore, Maryland, are an MLB franchise team who plays in the American League East division. One of the American League’s original eight charters, the Orioles has a long and storied history that began in 1901 in Milwaukee Wisconsin, moved to St. Louis, Missouri and was eventually relocated in 1954 to Maryland. The Orioles play their home games in Camden Yards, one of the most recognized and trend-setting parks in Major League Baseball.
Finding their greatest success from 1964 to 1983, the orioles saw some of the best players in the League come through their playhouse, including Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinson and the legendary Cal Ripken Jr. With these men and many more the Birds brought home nine division championships, six AL Pennants, two wild-card berths and three World Series Championships. Landing on hard times in the years that followed, the O’s came back to glory in 2014. Led by current All-Stars Adam Jones, Matt Wieters and Manny Machado, the Orioles continue to search for another World Series title.
As one of the longest running teams in MLB history, there are plenty of reasons to invest in valuable Baltimore Orioles memorabilia.
