About Baltimore Orioles Memorabilia & Collectibles

Nicknamed as the “O’s” and the “Birds," the Baltimore Orioles won World Series titles in 1966, 1970, and 1983.

Founded in 1894 as a minor league team known as the Milwaukee Brewers, they later became the St. Louis Browns after moving to St. Louis in 1902. In 1954, the Browns moved to Baltimore and adopted the Orioles name.

Babe Ruth used to pitch for Baltimore before being sold to Boston Red Sox in 1914.

In 1971, the Orioles won a division title thanks to pitching staffs Cuellar, Jim Palmer, Pat Dobson, and Dave McNally. And in 1980, they won 100 games thanks to Cy Young Winner Steve Stone.

Different awards color the Orioles history with Frank Robinson (1966), Boog Powell (1970) and Cal Ripken, Jr. (1983) named Most Valuable Player and with four pitchers winning the Cy Young Awards: Mike Cuellar (1969), Jim Palmer (1973, 1975, 1976), Mike Flanagan (1979) and Steve Stone (1980). Purchase Frank Robinson collectibles to show your support to the team.

The Orioles holds the record for an all won 20 games in 1971 with the team’s four starting pitchers: McNally, Cuellar, Palmer, and Pat Dobson.

Three players were also named rookies of the year: Al Bumbry (1973), Eddie Murray (1977), and Cal Ripken Jr. (1982).

Newly acquired Kevin Millwood served as the opening day starter for the 2010 season.

The team adopts the “Oriole Way” in playing baseball, which was a belief that hard work, professionalism, and a strong understanding of fundamentals were the keys to success at the major league level.
