Sources say that the team has played a number of bowl games and here are some of the noteworthy ones to be mentioned. On December 26 in the year 1921 they played at the San Diego E-W Christmas Classic and lost with a score of 0-38. Next they played at the Salad Bowl in 1949 and lost to the Drake’s. Once again they lost to Auburn on December 28th in the year 1968 at the Sun Bowl. Then on December 25 in the year 1979 at the Fiesta Bowl they lost to the mighty Pittsburgh.  Then on December 28 in the year 1985 they had a tie with the team Georgia which was played at the Sun Bowl. Finally in December 1986 at the Aloha Bowl they won against the strong North Carolina and that’s when the mementos like the Accessories and the Jewelry shot sales.

 

Sources say that on New Year’s Eve in 1989 at the Copper Bowl they won defeating the mighty NC State. But then again the date of December 25 in the year 1990 at the Aloha Bowl they lost to Syracuse.  After two years in 1992 they played at the Sun Bowl and lost to Baylor. But on January 1st in the year 1994 at the Fiesta Bowl they won against Miami. It was a loss again on December 27 in the year 1994 at the Freedom Bowl in Utah.

 

Records show that on December 27th in the year 1997 at the Insight.com Bowl they won against New Mexico. They again won a year later on December 30th in the year 1998 at the Holiday Bowl against Nebraska with another winning spree at the December 20th in the year 2008 Las Vegas Bowl against the BYU when the Watches were displayed and finally last year in 2009 December at the Holiday Bowl they lost to Nebraska.
