About Arizona Diamondbacks Memorabilia & Collectibles

They are based in Phoenix, Arizona. The Arizona Diamondbacks are professional team in baseball. And they are at present playing in the West Division of the Major League Baseball’s National League.

Since the seasons of 1998 up to the present time, they are playing in the Chase Field. That was formerly named as the Bank One Ballpark. Lots of their fans also called them as the D-Backs. The first major league game of the Arizona Diamondbacks was played against the Colorado Rockies and that was on March 31, 1998. The first player to hit a score was Travis Lee. In the first five seasons that they have, they were able to win three division titles.

The team was led by two dominant pitchers in all of baseball history and it was Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling. It was season of 2001. In the same season, they became the fastest expansion team in the majors that was able to win a championship.

Beating the reigning champions, New York Yankees, 4 to 3, the Arizona Diamondbacks became the youngest expansion franchise to win in the World Series in 2001, led by two of the most dominant pitchers in all of baseball, Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling.

With an estimated crowd of 300, 000, a victory parade was held at Bank One Ballpark (now Chase Field) and the surrounding downtown Phoenix streets on November 7, 2001.

Also known as the D-backs and Snakes, the Diamondbacks' first major league game was played against the Colorado Rockies on March 31, 1998, at Bank One Ballpark. They also won three division titles (1999, 2001, 2002) during their first five seasons. In 1999, Arizona won 100 games in only its second season.

During the 2007 regular season, the Diamondbacks posted the best record in National League with 90 wins and 72 losses, with a young team including Brandon Webb, Conor Jackson, Stephen Drew, Carlos Quentin, Chad Tracy, Chris Young, Miguel Montero. Mark Reynolds was also one of them. Get Mark Reynolds memorabilia items to commemorate his contribution to the team.

The Diamondbacks won against the Cincinnati Reds during the 2008 regular season opening game. On August 31, 2008, they acquired former World Series MVP David Eckstein traded from the Toronto Blue Jays for Minor League pitcher Chad Beck. Eckstein replaced Orlando Hudson’s second base hole position, after the latter was placed on the disabled list.

In early September 2006, the team has since changed their historical purple and traditional Arizonan colors of copper and turquoise to a reddish color known as "Sedona Red" similar to that of the Phoenix Coyotes and Arizona Cardinals color schemes for the 2007 Season.
