The Alabama Crimson Tide is the official athletics program for the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Best known for their rich history and "Roll Tide!" chant, the Crimson Tide football team began play in 1892 and now competes in the SEC conference's Western division. Crimson Tide football proudly calls Bryant-Denny Stadium their home, the fifth largest college football stadium in the nation.

Legendary quarterbacks Bart Starr and Joe Namath along with Heisman winner Mark Ingram and Pro Bowler Julio Jones have all started their illustrious careers at the University of Alabama.
