Long the laughing stock of Major League Baseball the Mets shocked everyone by winning the NL East pennant the NL playoffs and then the World Series in 1969. Pitchers Tom Seaver and Jerry Koosman were two of the main reasons the Mets won it all. Seaver has hand signed this 8x10 photograph of him and Koosman celebrating in the clubhouse on Sept. 24 1969 after the Mets defeated the St. Louis Cardinals to secure the Eastern Division title.
