    Product Description

    The Giants, once considered one of the most cherished of all football teams, had been on a free fall since 1964. From that season through the '81 season, the team posted only two winning seasons and did not even once qualify for the playoffs. Not even a move into a brand new stadium in '76 could help the team. Things disintegrated even more in '78, when the team seemingly had the Eagles beat and only needed to run out the clock. For some inexplicable reason, the offense ran a play, a handoff in the closing seconds of the game, which was botched, picked up by the opportunist Eagle defense, and returned, for a game-winning touchdown.
