Former American football player, Ronnie Lott starred as a cornerback, free safety, and strong safety in the National Football League. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 8, 1959.

 

He had studied at Eisenhower High School and had pursued his studies at the University of Southern California where he accomplished a degree in public administration in the year 1981. Lott was then drafted by the San Francisco 49ers during the first round of the National Football League Draft in 1981 as the team’s 8th overall pick. It was in 1986 when Lott suffered from an injury but then his situation did not hinder him to make 10 interceptions while recording 77 powerful tackles, three forced fumbles, and two amazing quarterback sacks.

 

Lott decided to sign as a free agent in the year 1991 with the Los Angeles Raiders and with the New York Jets in the year 1993. It was in 1991 when he led the league in 8 powerful interceptions. Lott returned to the 49ers in 1995 but he suffered from injuries and he decided to retire from playing. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the year 2000.
