List Price: $88.50 Our Price: $76.70 Hall of Fame thoroughbred race horse jockey, Ron Turcotte is well-known as the jockey of U.S. Triple Crown Champion, Secretariat. He was born in Drummond, New Brunswick, Canada.
He started his career in Toronto, Ontario being a hot walker for E.P. Taylor’s Windfields Farm in the year 1959. Turcotte then soon wore the silks and amazingly won races. When Turcotte was an apprentice jockey, he rode Windfields’ great Northern Dancer to his first ever victory. It was in 1965 when he earned prominence with his incredible victory aboard Tom Rolfe in the Preakness Stakes.
