Product InformationAt two years old, Mike Bossy's father placed a hockey stick in his son's hands to see what would happen. Ever since that day Mike's eyes were set on the NHL. In his first year, he scored an all-time rookie record of 53 goals and 92 points to win the Calder Trophy. Bossy scored at least 50 goals in 3 successive seasons and wanted to further test himself. He came up with the idea to match the 50 goals in 50 games record set by Maurice "Rocket" Richard from 36 years earlier. When Bossy finally accomplished that goal he arrived back in the locker room with a congratulating telegram from Richard himself. Although Gretzky is known as the most accomplished goal scorer in NHL history, it is Bossy's name that appears atop the 50-or more goals list with nine. Mike won four Stanley Cups with the New York Islanders and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991. This hockey stick is personally hand signed by Mike bossy and inscribed "HOF". This product is officially licensed by the National Hockey League and comes with an individually numbered; tamper evident hologram from Mounted Memories.
