From 1951 when he hit .267 as a 19-year-old Yankees rookie from Oklahoma through 1968 when he belted the last of his 536 career home runs Mickey Mantle captured the imagination of a generation. A three-time Most Valuable Player Mantle won the Triple Crown in 1956. This Mickey Mantle collage is part of an Archival Etched Glass Collection with double matting in a 14""x18"" frame containing a beautiful black and white image of ""The Mick"" taken during his early career sporting his recognizable all-American smile. Engraved on the nameplate are his name New York Yankees date of birth HOF Induction date and date he passed away. Also engraved are Mantle's 21-year major league hitting stats from 1951 through 1968. Also included are two die struck 24-carat gold overlay coins one of the New York Yankees and the other of Yankee Stadium. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity is mounted between both coins and lists all his World Series Championship titles.
