    We met in the Winter of 2004 at a mutual friend’s wedding. During the festivities, we began talking about our great-grandfathers, Josh Gibson and Babe Ruth. Immediately, we connected with each other, given the significance of our relatives in the baseball and home run world. Over time, we stayed in touch and became friends. During subsequent conversations, we started sharing our thoughts with each other about the possible “what-ifs” had Josh and Babe had the chance to meet and interact together, since there is no known record of these two baseball greats having ever crossed paths in person.
