Product Information
Trying to keep up with basketball legend John Havlicek became the daunting task of all his opponents. Havlicek's height endurance ability to score and talent at both forward and guard earned him recognition as potentially the best player in NBA history according to Sports Illustrated. Havlicek played pivotal roles in two generations of Celtics teams coming off the bench during Boston's dynasty years in the 1960s and emerging as a trusted veteran on a young team in the 1970s. Probably the most remembered play in Havlicek's career came when he deflected Hal Greer's inbound pass with five seconds left in the seventh game of the 1965 Eastern Division Finals sparking broadcaster Johnny Most's famous ""Havlicek stole the ball. Havlicek stole the ball"" call. John Havlicek has hand signed this black and white 16x20 photograph. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included. SKU:SS*HAVLPHS016005
