A retired American boxer and a former World Heavyweight Champion, Muhammad Ali was born as Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. in Louisville, Kentucky, USA on January 17, 1942.

 

In the 1960 Olympics in Rome, Ali went to win 6 Kentucky Golden Gloves titles, 2 national Golden Gloves Title, an Amateur Athletic Union National Title and the Light Heavyweight gold medal that led to the recognition of Muhammad Ali signed lighting Olympic torch 16x20 photos. This was known as “The Fight of the Century”. He regained his title on October 30, 1974. He defeated the champion named George Foreman. In 1981, Ali permanently retired from his boxing career.
