Hideki Matsui, or Godzilla as he was nicknamed in Japan, came to the New York Yankees in 2003. After playing his entire career with the Yomiuri Giants in Japan, Matsui left Japan having amassed 1,390 hits, 332 HR, 889 RBI and a .304 lifetime average.
