    ""Gerry Cheevers was one of the NHL's finest goaltenders. As a member of the Boston Bruins Cheevers won two Stanley Cup Championships once went undefeated in 33 straight games and logged a total of 26 shutouts. He was perhaps just as famous for his trademark stitch mask; every time he would be struck in the mask by a puck during a game he would paint on another stitch to commemorate the battle scar. After he retired following the 1980 season Cheevers went on to coach the Bruins for four-plus years and he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1985.
