He had a professional career in the United States Football League with the Jersey Generals. In 1986, Flutie had signed with the National Football League’s Chicago Bears and then he went to the New England Patriots in 1987-1989. He is said to be among the greatest quarterbacks who have played for Canadian Football. He had signed with the BC Lions in 1990. It was in 1992 when he won his first-ever Grey Cup in 1992 with the Stampeders and he was named the Grey Cup Most Valuable Player leading to the recognition of Doug Flutie signed Boston College Riddell mini helmet.
