Product Information
Ted Williams didn't live to see it but the Boston Red Sox won the World Series in 2004 their first championship since 1918. However fellow Red Sox legends and close friends Johnny Pesky Bobby Doerr and Dom DiMaggio all survived to bask in Boston's return to glory. Pesky was a popular and talented player but he was most famous for hitting fly balls toward the right field foul pole at Fenway Park. And thus was born ""the Pesky Pole."" Doerr and DiMaggio both spent their entire careers with the Sox. Doerr was a nine-time All-Star a lifetime .288 hitter and a super second baseman who once went 414 straight chances without committing an error. DiMaggio was a seven-time All-Star who hit .298 lifetime and once had a 34-game hitting streak that still stands as a Red Sox record. Johnny Pesky Bobby Doerr and Dom DiMaggio have each hand signed this 16x20 photo collage. SKU:SS*REDSPHS016033
