Chambers was drafted in the 2001 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins in the second round in the 52nd overall draft and was named in the club history to be one of the most productive seasons of any rookie wide receiver and the signed Dolphins running 16x20 photos that was exclusively signed by him was made as a valuable item. The 16 games he had started were able to finished and record with 48 interceptions for 883 yards and touchdowns of 7. Chambers started with 16 games.
