Taking place January 30, 2000 Super Bowl XXXIV was an epic matchup between the St. Louis Rams and the Tennessee Titans in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. Looking for their first Super Bowl victory, the St. Louis Rams were poised to bring home a championship while the Titans fought defensively to take home a title of their own. Marked by a battle of defenses, Super Bowl 34 was full of future Hall of Famers, including Marshall Faulk, Orlando Pace and Bruce Matthews. With Rams linebacker Mike Jones taking down Tennessee’s wide receiver Kevin Dyson, Super Bowl 2000 went on to become known for the one play so revolutionary its known just as “One yard Short” or “The Tackle.” The Titans could not tie the game in the last minute, giving the Rams the 23-16 victory.
