Nashville Predators
When on the road, the Nashville Predators jersey worn was primarily white with a dark blue band across the chest, the back, and down the sleeves below the same metallic silver and gold taper seen on the home jersey. Where there was a gold band around the bottom of the home jersey, the away version had a blue band which was interrupted on the sides by the same silver triangle with gold trim. Behind the Predators’ large center logo sat a dark blue triangle. The numbers on the back were blue with gold trim, and the player’s name rested on the higher blue band, printed in white. Jeff Daniels jerseys, Stu Grimson jerseys, and early Jason Arnott jerseys are all done in this design. In 2007 the Predators responded to fans’ repeated complaints about the original design and created a new Nashville Predators jersey. The home version of this new design was a primarily dark blue jersey with a wide white side panel on both sides. The top portion of the sleeves was done in gray, with blue under the upper arm and white under the forearm. On the front center of the jersey rested the Predators’ signature logo, while a small alternate logo rested on each shoulder and dark blue italicized block numbers were printed at the top of each shoulder, outlined in gold. The collar of the jersey was yellow with dark blue trim. On the back was the player’s name in white italicized letters as well as his number in a white italicized block font, outlined in gold. The away version of the 2007 jersey featured the same design, with different coloration. Ryan Jones jerseys are a perfect example of the new jersey style. |
