Zarley Zalapski (full name: Zarley Zalapski; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1988 until 2000 for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Hartford Whalers, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers. He played for the Penguins from 1988 - 1991, Whalers from 1991 - 1994, Flames from 1994 - 1998, Canadies in 1998 and Flyers in 2000. Over 12 seasons, he played 637 games, scored 99 goals, and made 285 assists. Born in Edmonton, Alberta on April 22, 1968, Zalapski stands 6-1 and weighs 215 lbs. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1st round (4th overall) of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft.
