Zach Parise is a National Hockey League player who was born on July 28, 1984. He finished school at Shattuck-St. Mary’s High School and started practicing his hockey skilla at the said school. He was also a former hockey athlete at University of North Dakota where he received a number of recognitions as a player. He was considered as the top player in his tem and so was awarded the Hobey Baker Award.
Parise began his professional hockey career when he was chosen by the New Jersey Devils as the 17th overall pick. He was selected during the 2003 National Hockey League Entry Draft. However, he did not immediately appear in the national league and instead played in the American Hockey League for the Albany River Rats. His debut season in the National Hockey League was in the 2005 to 2006 season.
According to many reviews, Parise had his finest season during the 2008 to 2009 seasons when he scored the third highest number of goals. He was able to end with 94 goals, which is the fifth highest overall.
He also played for the United States team for several times. He was part of the team’s success in the World Junior Championships which was held in 2004 and in that tournament, he was honored as the MVP. He also joined the team that competed in the Winter Olympics in 2010 as an alternate captain.
