Yvon Labre (full name: Yvon Labre; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1971 until 1981 for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals. He played for the Penguins from 1971 - 1974 and Capitals from 1975 - 1981. Over 9 seasons, he played 371 games, scored 14 goals, and made 87 assists. Born in Sudbury, Ontario on November 29, 1949, Labre stands 5-11 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 4th round (38th overall) of the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft.
