Yves Racine (full name: Yves Racine; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1990 until 1998 for the Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers, Montreal Canadiens, San Jose Sharks, Calgary Flames and Tampa Bay Lightning. He played for the Red Wings from 1990 - 1993, Flyers in 1994, Canadies from 1995 - 1996, Sharks in 1996, Flames in 1997 and Lightning in 1998. Over 9 seasons, he played 508 games, scored 37 goals, and made 194 assists. Born in Matane, Quebec on February 7, 1969, Racine stands 6-0 and weighs 205 lbs. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1st round (11th overall) of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft.
