Yatil Devon Green is a retired football player who hails from Gainesville, Florida. He was born on November 25, 1973 and listed at 6 ft. 2 in and 205 lbs in weight. He graduated from University of Miami where he played football before joining the national league.
He entered National Football League in 1997 when he was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in round one of the 1997 NFL Draft. He was selected as 15th overall pick and played for the team as a wide receiver. In his first day in the training camp as a Dolphin, he suffered quadriceps muscles injury as well as anterior cruciate ligament and right knee cartilage tear. He underwent treatment and came back after a year but obtained ACL injury once again. His third season came in 1999 and he made a record of 18 receptions and 234 yards but made no touchdowns. This was the only season where he was able to appear in a game. Green had undergone 10 right knee surgeries which made the Dolphins cut him after the 1999 season.
Green also signed for the New York Jets in 2000 and a member of Oakland Raiders in 2001. According to reviews, he was not able to play in any game for both teams and even missed the whole 2000 season.
