About Yale Lary:
Yale Lary (fullname: Robert Yale Lary Jr.; no nicknames) played Defensive Back from 1952 until 1964 for the Detroit Lions. He played 133 games, intercepted 50 passes and recovered 13 fumbles. Born in Fort Worth, TX on November 24, 1930, Lary stands 5'11 and weighs 185 lbs. He attended college at Texas A&M. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 3rd round (34th overall) of the 1952 NFL Draft. Lary was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1979, finalist in 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978.
