World B. Free (full name: World B. Free; no nicknames) played Guard from 1976 until 1988 for the Philadelphia 76ers, San Diego Clippers, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets. Over 13 seasons, he played 886 games, scored 17955 points (20.3 ppg) and grabbed 2430 rebounds (2.7 rpg). Free also dished out 3319 assists (3.7 apg), made 910 steals (1.0 spg), and blocked 223 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 9, 1953, Free stands 6-2 and weighs 185 lbs. He attended high school at Canarsie in Brooklyn, New York and college at Guilford College. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2nd round (5th pick, 23rd overall) of the 1975 NBA draft.
