He played for the Jays from 1978 - 1987 and Indians in 1988. Over 10 seasons, he played 1264 games, hit 123 home runs, drove in 596 runs, and stole 88 bases. Born on April 27, 1957 in Blanco, TX, Upshaw stands 6' 0" and weighs 185 lb. He attended Blanco (Blanco, TX) high school and was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 5th round of the 1975 amateur draft. His debut was on April 9, 1978 and he played his final game on September 28, 1988. Over his career, Upshaw made $3,710,000.
