Willie Parker Jr. is a professional football player who is currently playing in the National Football League. Born in North Carolina, he is a former football varsity athlete at Clinton High School, where he became famous for his outstanding rushing skills and impressive records which include 20 touchdowns. After his successful high school career, he proceeded to University of North Carolina where he logged 355 rushed yards in his first season. However, he was not able to continue practicing his learned skills as he was restricted by the head coach until he achieved the desired body fit.

Parker turned professional in 2004 when the Pittsburgh Steelers signed him. He spent five years with the Steelers with which he had his two Pro Bowl selection, the first one in 2006 and the other in the following year. He was also part of two Super Bowl championships, the Super Bowl XL and the Super Bowl XLIII.

After his stint with the Steelers, he joined the Washington Redskins and is still part of the team.

Among the recognitions he received are the Most Valuable Player award in 2006 and the Player of the Week Honors in 2005 which he received five times. As of the 2009 season, he has rushed for 5, 378 yards and recorded 24 rushing TDS.
