He started playing professionally in 2003 when he was chosen by the Seattle Supersonics during the 2003 NBA Draft. Green was a 41st overall pick in round two of the said draft. After spending a few seasons with the Supersonics, he joined the Philadelphia 76ers via trade for Paccelis Morlende.
