Willi Plett (full name: Willi Plett; no nicknames) played right wing from 1976 until 1988 for the Atlanta Flames, Calgary Flames, Minnesota North Stars and Boston Bruins. He played for the Flames from 1976 - 1980, Flames from 1981 - 1982, North Stars from 1983 - 1987 and Bruins in 1988. Over 13 seasons, he played 834 games, scored 222 goals, and made 215 assists. Born in Asuncion, Paraguay on June 7, 1955, Plett stands 6-3 and weighs 205 lbs. He was drafted by the Atlanta Flames in the 5th round (80th overall) of the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft.
