 William Poole, popularly known as Will Poole is a professional football player currently appearing in the Canadian Football League. He began showcasing his superb defensive skills in high school as a member of the football team of the Christ the King Regional High School. As a high school player, he became part of the All-American team of the Parade magazine. He had a more celebrated football career in college when he attended the University of South California where he finished his college education. Before having his best seasons in USC, he went first to Boston College, but did not stayed long in the said school. His career in USC was popular because of the much recognition he had while playing in the team. He became part of the SuperPrep JUCO 100 in the 2002 season and in that same year, was awarded as the Most Valuable Player in the Western State Conference. He also became the Most Valuable Player of Ventura College in that year. He was named as the Defensive Player of the Week in the Pac-10 conference on November 5, 2003.

His professional career began after he was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 2004 National Football League draft. Aside from the Miami Dolphins, he also played for the Kansas City Chiefs. Afterwards, he joined the Canadian Football League team Toronto Argonauts. At present, Poole is playing for the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the said league.
