Wesley M. Hodges, famously known as Wes Hodges, is a professional baseball player who was born on September 14, 1984 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He bats and throws with his right hand and stands 6 ft. 2 in. and weighs 205 lbs. He played college baseball at Georgia Institute of Technology where he spent three seasons. While in the Georgia Tech baseball team, he was regarded as a good prospect for the professional baseball scene. He appeared in the American League games and was part of the AFL All-Prospect Team in 2008. He is currently part of the Cleveland Indians organization who drafted him in the 2006 MLB amateur draft as a second round pick. He was awarded as the EAS Player of the Week for June 16, 2008 and the EAS Rookie of the Year in 2008. He played fort he Kinston Indians. He was part of the AFL Rising Stars in 2008. Hodges also played for the Akron Aeros with which he became a CAR Post season All-Star and a Mid-Season All-Star. He was also part of the Future Games Selection as an Akron in the 2008 season. Hodges has not made his major league debut at the moment but is currently part of the Cleveland Indians minor league teams as a third baseman.
