Wayne Krenchicki (full name: Wayne Richard Krenchicki; no nicknames) played third baseman, pinch hitter and first baseman from 1979 until 1986 for the Baltimore Orioles, Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers and Montreal Expos. He played for the Orioles from 1979 - 1981, Reds from 1982 - 1985, Tigers in 1983 and Expos in 1986. Over 8 seasons, he played 550 games, hit 15 home runs, drove in 107 runs, and stole 7 bases. Born on September 17, 1954 in Trenton, NJ, Krenchicki stands 6' 1" and weighs 180 lb. He attended Ewing (Ewing, NJ) high school and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1st round (7th pick) of the 1976 amateur draft (January Secondary).
