About Wayne Embry:
Wayne Embry (full name: Wayne Richard Embry; Goose, The Wall) played Center-Forward from 1959 until 1969 for the Cincinnati Royals, Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. Over 11 seasons, he played 831 games, scored 10380 points (12.5 ppg) and grabbed 7544 rebounds (9.1 rpg). Embry also dished out 1194 assists (1.4 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Springfield, Ohio on March 26, 1937, Embry stands 6-8 and weighs 240 lbs. He attended high school at Tecumseh in New Carlisle, Ohio and college at Miami University. He was drafted by the St. Louis Hawks in the 3rd round (7th pick, 22nd overall) of the 1958 NBA draft. He was inducted into Hall of Fame as Contributor in 1999.
