Signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates, he was a journey man all through out his 10 year career in the MLB. He even played with the St. Louis Cardinals, teamed up with the Cincinnati Reds, joined the campaign for the quest of a World Series Championship of the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League, he even went to Cleveland Indians and the Baltimore Orioles in the American League.

Wally Westlake (full name: Waldon Thomas Westlake; no nicknames) played outfielder and third baseman from 1947 until 1956 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Pirates from 1947 - 1951, Cardinals from 1951 - 1952, Reds in 1952, Indians from 1952 - 1955, Orioles in 1955 and Phillies in 1956. Over 10 seasons, he played 958 games, hit 127 home runs, drove in 474 runs, and stole 19 bases. Born on November 8, 1920 in Gridley, CA, Westlake stands 6' 0" and weighs 186 lb.
