Vito Tamulis (full name: Vitautris Casimirus Tamulis; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1934 until 1941 for the New York Yankees, St. Louis Browns, Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Yankees from 1934 - 1935, Browns in 1938, Dodgers from 1938 - 1941 and Phillies in 1941. Over 6 seasons, he started 70 games, won 40 games, struck out 294 batters, and had a 3.97 ERA. Born on July 11, 1911 in Cambridge, MA, Tamulis stood 5' 9" and weighed 170 lb. He attended English (Boston, MA) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on September 25, 1934 and he played his final game on July 25, 1941.
