Vitaly Potapenko (full name: Vitaly Nikolaevich Potapenko; no nicknames) played Center from 1997 until 2007 for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Seattle Supersonics and Sacramento Kings. Over 11 seasons, he played 610 games, scored 3995 points (6.5 ppg) and grabbed 2725 rebounds (4.5 rpg). Potapenko also dished out 418 assists (0.7 apg), made 258 steals (0.4 spg), and blocked 209 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Kiev, Ukraine on March 21, 1975, Potapenko stands 6-10 and weighs 280 lbs. He attended high school at Kozchagin in Kiev, Ukraine and college at Wright State University. He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 1st round (12th pick, 12th overall) of the 1996 NBA draft.
