Virgil Trucks (full name: Virgil Oliver Trucks; Fire) played pitcher from 1941 until 1958 for the Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Browns, Kansas City Athletics and New York Yankees. He played for the Tigers from 1941 - 1956, White Sox from 1953 - 1955, Browns in 1953, Athletics from 1957 - 1958 and Yankees in 1958.
