Virgil Stallcup (full name: Thomas Virgil Stallcup; Red) played shortstop from 1947 until 1953 for the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Reds from 1947 - 1952 and Cardinals from 1952 - 1953. Over 7 seasons, he played 587 games, hit 22 home runs, drove in 171 runs, and stole 9 bases.
