Vince DiMaggio (full name: Vincent Paul DiMaggio; no nicknames) played centerfielder from 1937 until 1946 for the Boston Bees, Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies and New York Giants. He played for the Bees from 1937 - 1938, Reds from 1939 - 1940, Pirates from 1940 - 1944, Phillies from 1945 - 1946 and Giants in 1946. Over 10 seasons, he played 1110 games, hit 125 home runs, drove in 491 runs, and stole 79 bases. Born on September 6, 1912 in Martinez, CA, DiMaggio stood 5' 11" and weighed 183 lb. He attended Galileo (San Francisco, CA) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on April 19, 1937 and he played his final game on June 6, 1946.
