About Vince Carter Autographed Memorabilia & Collectibles
Orlando Magic’s current small forward and shooting guard, Vincent Lamar “Vince” Carter was born on January 26, 1977. This professional basketball player was born in Daytona Beach in Florida. Out of Mainland High School, Carter in 1995 was a McDonald’s All-American player. After graduating from high school, Carter has spent three seasons with the University of North Carolina before he entered the 1998 NBA Draft. He emerged victorious against his then-teammate and third cousin Tracy McGrady in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 2000.
He was the third player after Michael Jordan and Julius Erving who has led NBA All-Star Game fan voting for more than three times. Carter also helped in leading the Toronto Raptors to two playoff appearances. He was traded to New Jersey Jets in 2004 and with Ryan Anderson, to Orlando Magic in 2009.
This astonishing NBA player that is as good as Dennis Rodman is not only skilled in the hard court but also has a very big heart. He has donated to Mainland High School and also to The Embassy of Hope, his own foundation. This foundation was established by the player when NBA drafted him in 1998. “Believing in Your Dreams” was the foundation’s slogan, aiming to encourage those who are less fortunate. This is the same slogan that Carter uses in his goal of achieving success. And on February 3, 2007, the school unveiled Carter’s statue to commemorate his big help.
You can also show your admiration to this kind-hearted man by acquiring his memorabilia and other signed collectibles items which are made affordable so that all fans of Carter and Derrick Rose can have them.
