Vince Banonis (fullname: Vincent Joseph Banonis; no nicknames) played Linebacker from 1950 until 1953 for the Chicago Cardinals and Detroit Lions. He played 108 games, intercepted 14 passes and recovered 5 fumbles. Born in Detroit, MI on April 9, 1921, Banonis stands 6'1 and weighs 230 lbs. He attended college at Detroit Mercy. He was drafted by the Chicago Cardinals in the 4th round (29th overall) of the 1942 NFL Draft.
