About Vic Power:

Vic Power (full name: Victor Pellot Power; no nicknames) played first baseman, second baseman and outfielder from 1954 until 1965 for the Philadelphia Athletics, Kansas City Athletics, Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Angels. He played for the Athletics in 1954, Athletics from 1955 - 1958, Indians from 1958 - 1961, Twins from 1962 - 1964, Phillies in 1964 and Angels from 1964 - 1965. Over 12 seasons, he played 1627 games, hit 126 home runs, drove in 765 runs, and stole 45 bases. Born on November 1, 1927 in Arecibo, P.R. (All Transactions), Power stood 6' 0" and weighed 186 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 13, 1954 and he played his final game on October 3, 1965. Over his career, Power made $44,000. Common misspellings of his name include Victor Pellot Victor (Pove) Pellot Vic victor Power.
