Vic Correll (full name: Victor Crosby Correll; no nicknames) played catcher from 1972 until 1980 for the Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Red Sox in 1972, Braves from 1974 - 1977 and Reds from 1978 - 1980. Over 8 seasons, he played 410 games, hit 29 home runs, drove in 124 runs, and stole 2 bases. Born on February 5, 1946 in Washington, DC, Correll stands 5' 10" and weighs 185 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 9th round of the 1967 amateur draft.
