Vern Ruhle (full name: Vernon Gerald Ruhle; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1974 until 1986 for the Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Cleveland Indians and California Angels. He played for the Tigers from 1974 - 1977, Astros from 1978 - 1984, Indians in 1985 and Angels in 1986.
